Client notes

Written permission obtained for each quote. Roles and organisation names shortened when NDAs apply.

The audit report separated “must fix before launch” from “improve next quarter.” Our vendor stopped arguing about severity labels because each item had a screen recording attached.

— Lindiwe M., product owner, provincial agency

James spent a day in our repo untangling nested buttons in the card component. I wish we had booked him earlier in the sprint; some of his suggestions needed design buy-in we had not scheduled.

— Theo K., engineering lead, ed-tech company

Turnaround was faster than expected, though the walkthrough slot landed at 7am to accommodate our UK parent company—that was awkward for the content team.

— Priya N., delivery manager, retail group

Case: clinic appointment rescheduling

A private healthcare group needed WCAG 2.2 AA on a rescheduling flow used heavily on mobile. Digital Atelier tested with VoiceOver on iOS and found the confirmation step did not expose the new date to assistive tech. After pairing, the client’s contractor added an aria-live region; we re-tested only that flow and issued a one-page sign-off letter for their compliance file.

Timeline: audit (six days), pairing (one half day), re-test (two days). Total fee under the original quote because scope did not include their marketing blog.

Case: university open-day microsite

Short engagement—three consulting days—to align hero video, transcript placement, and keyboard access to tabbed programme schedules. The communications team maintained the CMS themselves; our job was to document patterns their student developers could reuse across faculty subsites.
